Experience the thrill of a breathtaking journey into antiquity! Visiting Ancient Rome’s main historical landmarks allows you to explore the origins and soul of the city and imagine what life was like 2,000 years ago.We will start on the Palatine Hill, which was once entirely covered by the enormous palaces and residences of the Emperors. From there, we will walk down to the Roman Forum, visiting temples, triumphal arches, basilicas, shops, and pagan temples later transformed into churches. Next, we will go to the Colosseum, the giant amphitheater built between 72 and 80 AD under Emperor Vespasian. You will learn about its remarkable architecture and hear stories of its incredible spectacles: fights between exotic animals, parades, executions, and of course, gladiatorial combat.
