Rome, around 64 AD: Paul the Apostle is in the capital of the empire, preaching a message that will change the world: his life in Rome will end in martyrdom, but his legacy will shape the city forever.

On this tour, we visit three important places connected to his story. We begin at the Mamertine Prison where he was held captive together with Saint Peter. Then we will head to the peaceful Abbey of the Three Fountains, traditionally believed to be the place where Paul was executed during the reign of Nero. According to tradition, three springs appeared where his head touched the ground after his beheading.The tour continues at the magnificent Basilica of Saint Paul Outside the Walls, built over the apostle’s tomb and still one of the most important pilgrimage churches in Rome
